Approach all new businesses in the area and provide them with membership information\u00a0 benefits, and applications.\u00a0 The Committee shall invite potential members to general membership meetings, welcome and introduce them at the meeting and follow up on future attendance.\u00a0 The Committee shall provide greeters at all events to welcome guests and members.<\/p>

In addition the Committee shall develop the annual membership directory and the monthly newsletter.<\/p>

The Committee is chaired by the Vice President.\u00a0 \u00a0The Secretary, Treasurer and three Trustees shall serve on the committee.<\/p>

The Nominating Committee shall seek out members who have an interest in running for office.\u00a0 The Committee shall present the slate of officers at the November general membership meeting.\u00a0 The Committee shall send the slate of officers to all members in good standing by First Class Mail fourteen days prior to the election.\u00a0 The Committee shall supervise the election of officers at the January general membership meeting.<\/p>

The Special Events Committee shall oversee special events such as dinners, membership mixers and seminars.\u00a0 The Committee shall act as liaison for the events.\u00a0 The Committee shall select topics, arrange for speakers and event locations.\u00a0 The Committee shall arrange for food or refreshments, and if necessary, equipment or any additional requirements for the event.\u00a0 The Committee shall provide a written quote in advance for any dinner meetings.<\/p>
